A friend sent me this blog and all I can say is wow.
Ladies, please click the link below and read this blog!!
I want you to understand your role while waiting on your “God ordained spouse.”
Let’s not miss him when he comes.
Nor, misinterpret the warfare and tactics of the enemy as “God saying no.”
Especially, if God never told you “No.”
I remember, when I asked The Lord about something a long time ago, and why; although it was so “peaceful,” it still was so hard to obtain, and the response God gave me left me dumbfounded…
He said: “What promise in the Bible/word came easy?”
As I looked & searched for people who obtained “the promise, the promise land, or what God promised them” easily with barely any warfare.
I could find nothing.
About 3 years ago I was talking with one of my brothers and I asked him, “Bro, how did you know ____ was the one?” And he said, “God told me.” Not to mention that God told him that even when they were no longer talking.
Nevertheless, he went and got his now wife and they are happily married.
Sis, you can breathe right there.
That is proof that it will not all be on you!
You do not have to claw your way into a mans heart, do a million tricks, nor give up the goods, if that’s something God wants for you.
Just like Ruth and Boaz, everyone will have a part to play.
Including the man.
So, if a man is passive and not pursuing you or putting forth an effort, rest assure that’s not your God ordained husband.
I believe The Lord will ignite a fire in the both of you when it’s truly the one He has for you.
Nevertheless, It will not be easy.
Do you think the devil is just gonna give you your promise & smile and wave you off into the sunset?
And even if you feel like, “Well, Takyah, I think I might’ve missed it.”
Sis, let me comfort you, God is NOT slack on “Giving out Spouses.”
Sometimes, in His Sovereignty He will allow you to go through things just so you can learn lessons of:
2. “Staying in position/the field” (like Ruth),
3. “Following His voice over mans.”
Although, these lessons are painful, sometimes God will allow it, so you wont miss out on the next man He is going to present you to.
However, I don’t want to say too much.
I just want you to read.
